Once guests arrive at the Zihuatanejo Airport, getting to Casa Del Arbol is easy since it is only a 15 minute taxi ride.

Since the home is centrally located a short distance above La Ropa and Madera beaches, almost everything is within walking distance. It is a 5-10 minute walk to either beach and all of the restaurants on them. Since going downhill is easier than going back up, some guests prefer to pay the $3 taxi fare to get them home from the beach. Others prefer to walk.

The town of Zihuatanejo is only a 10-15 minute walk from Casa Del Arbol. Taxi rides are between $3-5 depending on the destination.

Ixtapa is very close by. In a taxi, it will take about 15 minutes, and cost about $6-8. Both of the 18-hole golf courses are in Ixtapa.

In addition to golf, activities range from snorkeling and scuba diving to a day spent relaxing at an outlying beach.  The Casa Del Arbol staff assists guests in planning a range of excursions and activities including kayaking, yoga, fishing trips, surfing, and sunset cruises.
